Spring so far!

After the Cooper River Bridge Run/Walk
Noah loves our remote, so I bought him a "play" one, but of course he still wants the real one
Scooting backwards, can't figure out to go forwards yet!
Time at the beach!

Well, we have FINALLY had a couple of days of warm weather and are really enjoying it! We also know that with warm temps comes a lot of bugs...which we are trying to keep from getting our precious boy. Noah is scooting backwards and tries VERY hard to go forward, but can't quite figure it out. He also stood up in his crib for the first time this week, so the mattress has now been lowered. Last weekend was spent in Charleston with Papa and Grannie DeeDee for the Cooper River Bridge Run/Walk. Alan did very well, but I mostly had to walk due to lack of time to train. Noah's first tooth broke through today and he has been a little fussy, but we are hoping it gets better soon. Time is really passing by quickly and I am going to try to update our blog more frequently as our little boy is growing by the day!

Noah's Laugh

Please don't pay any attention to me in this video, just listen to the laugh of a sweet boy!

so far in 2010!

wearing CoCo's hat
baby loves his mum mum's
eating mum mum's with wewa
sweet babies!
he went through a phase for 2 weeks sticking his tongue out

We all know the saying "time flies," but now I can really understand the meaning of that. Noah was 6 months on February 5th! His stats were 18 lbs, 13 oz and 27 inches long and he did really well with his shots! We went to Charleston that night, with the help of WeWa to see Yonder Mountain String Band and had a blast! Noah is sleeping through the night (finally!) and can really get around well in his walker. We have spent a lot of time inside recently because of the bad weather & are hoping for some warmer temps soon! Noah's babysitter, aka DD, has been sick, so we have needed the help of many family members to keep him so I don't have to take time away from work and we TRULY appreciate everyone. Noah hopes that his DD feels better soon and he has sure missed her. One last note, we have entered the world of teething......

Noah's 1st Christmas

"Santa" relaxing in his rocker
Hanging out with cousin Rebekah
He was too cute in his snowman outfit!
"Reading" his new book with Aunt Courtney
Spending time at Coco and WaWa's house
He loves his new sing-a-long book from Poppa and Granny DeeDee

Playing with cousin Shelby

We really enjoyed our first Christmas with Noah! Although he didn't really know what was going on most of the time, he loved his new toys and watching all the family! We were able to spend time in Augusta and Williston. Noah was able to see all 7 of his grandparents and lots of other family members. Our little boy will be 5 months next week and is trying to sit up by himself! We just cannot believe how fast he is growing and he is really excited that he will have a new cousin to play with come August (jamie and lesley) YAH!!

Walker Time

Noah enjoying some time in his walker....he still can't turn himself around, but he is trying!

November updates!

Noah with his great-great grandmother on Thanksgiving at MaMa & PaPa's

Noah wore his cousin Rhett's first Halloween costume this year. Not sure whether it's a dinosaur or dragon, but he was so cute!

Noah trying out his walker for the first time. He wasn't quite sure what to do at first, but now he has got it figured out. If only he could figure out how to turn himself around!

Enjoying some tummy time & slowly learning how to turn over...he's growing up so fast!

No turkey for Noah this Thanksgiving, but he really enjoyed his rice cereal!

This new post has taken so long because I finally went back to work! At first, it was a little hard, but it has gotten easier and easier! Deb is taking such good care of him and he is usually worn out by the time I get home. We FINALLY got Noah on a feeding and napping schedule and it seems to be working out really well so far...we have even started giving him rice cereal (which he LOVES!) Noah's personality is really starting to shine through and always seems to be smiling! I will do my best to keep the blog update more frequently because now I understand the meaning of "time flies by so fast" and "he is growing like a weed." It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home, now look at him......

October Update!

Sorry it has been so long since I've blogged, but Noah is taking fewer naps and for shorter periods of time...so I've been getting the essentials done when he is asleep. Noah weighed 13 lbs 5 oz at his 2 month check up and was 23 1/2 inches long, which is in the 75th percentile (you go boy!) He was VERY upset about getting his shots and cried ALL the way home, but was fine once we were in our safe place of Tansi Village!! We have had lots of visitors this month and have enjoyed every minute of it. Noah is now smiling A LOT and always likes to keep his legs moving. He is doing better sleeping at night, usually only to wake to eat once or if he has gas! The day is approaching in the next 2 weeks that I have to go back to work and while I'm not looking forward to it, I know his Nanny Deborah D will take excellent care of him and love him just as much as we do!
