November updates!
Noah wore his cousin Rhett's first Halloween costume this year. Not sure whether it's a dinosaur or dragon, but he was so cute!
Noah trying out his walker for the first time. He wasn't quite sure what to do at first, but now he has got it figured out. If only he could figure out how to turn himself around!
No turkey for Noah this Thanksgiving, but he really enjoyed his rice cereal!
This new post has taken so long because I finally went back to work! At first, it was a little hard, but it has gotten easier and easier! Deb is taking such good care of him and he is usually worn out by the time I get home. We FINALLY got Noah on a feeding and napping schedule and it seems to be working out really well so far...we have even started giving him rice cereal (which he LOVES!) Noah's personality is really starting to shine through and always seems to be smiling! I will do my best to keep the blog update more frequently because now I understand the meaning of "time flies by so fast" and "he is growing like a weed." It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home, now look at him......

October Update!
Sorry it has been so long since I've blogged, but Noah is taking fewer naps and for shorter periods of time...so I've been getting the essentials done when he is asleep. Noah weighed 13 lbs 5 oz at his 2 month check up and was 23 1/2 inches long, which is in the 75th percentile (you go boy!) He was VERY upset about getting his shots and cried ALL the way home, but was fine once we were in our safe place of Tansi Village!! We have had lots of visitors this month and have enjoyed every minute of it. Noah is now smiling A LOT and always likes to keep his legs moving. He is doing better sleeping at night, usually only to wake to eat once or if he has gas! The day is approaching in the next 2 weeks that I have to go back to work and while I'm not looking forward to it, I know his Nanny Deborah D will take excellent care of him and love him just as much as we do! Cousins visit

He had a dance with Miss Ann and then fell fast asleep in the camp rocking chair!
This is a short video of Noah's morning playtime...and I mean short because he gets bored very easily...enjoy!

We took our first overnight trip with Noah this past weekend to Williston. Noah did very well and slept all the way there and most of the way back! He loved WaWa and CoCo's living room because it was so dark and cozy. He was able to spend some time with his cousin Rebekah! We also took our pups, Junior and Josie on their first road trip...can't believe we took all that on, but everyone did well! Noah was able to meet many of our friends for the first time...NieNie, Brett, Katie, Courtney, Lacy, and little Baker! MaMa, PaPa, my Daddy and DeeDee (who haven't come up with names for Noah to call them) all were surprised to see how much Noah has grown and were happy to have some time with him!
While the trip home was a success, the reason we were there was not pleasant...we will always miss you Big Time, Tansi just isn't the same without you!

We had our first BIG family outing today to Bluffton! We went to Target, Motherhood Maternity, and Wild Wing Cafe! Noah was very good the whole trip. He was mesmerized by Wild Wings and ate while we did...a bottle that is! He was very handsome in his little outfit and slept for 4 hours straight once we got home (the longest stretch so far!) Aunt Terrie is here visiting now and Noah was happy to see her!

Introducing Noah Marion Johnson
Our miracle Noah Marion Johnson was born August 5th, 2009 at 11:22 am. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long! We had scheduled an induction for August 6th, but Noah decided that Tuesday night (August 4th) that he was ready to come! We were busy working on our room addition and didn't have time to cook dinner, so we ordered pizza from Domino's. After dinner all was well until we went to bed & my water broke @ 10:00 pm. We weren't really sure what to do and Alan and I were walking around in circles because we had just moved all our stuff into our new closet and couldn't find anything! We called Dr Royal and were on our way to the hospital! After a VERY comfortable night with the epidural and many family members visiting, we were surprised that at 5:00 am I was completely dilated and ready to push! Of course, Noah had his own plan and wouldn't progress on his own, so against our plans, Noah was born via c-section! Alan was able to participate in Noah's first bath and was an extremely proud daddy as he displayed him in the nursery window (which was completely taken up with our family!) We were able to come home on Friday (after the laminate floors were done in the whole house!) and are so happy WeWa was able to stay with his for a week because we wouldn't have made it without her! We have had many visitors and Noah has already attended his first Tansi fish fry! We cannot thank our family enough for their love and support and will do our best to continue to upate our new blog as Noah grows! It's hard to believe he is already 3 weeks old today!
