Our miracle Noah Marion Johnson was born August 5th, 2009 at 11:22 am. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long! We had scheduled an induction for August 6th, but Noah decided that Tuesday night (August 4th) that he was ready to come! We were busy working on our room addition and didn't have time to cook dinner, so we ordered pizza from Domino's. After dinner all was well until we went to bed & my water broke @ 10:00 pm. We weren't really sure what to do and Alan and I were walking around in circles because we had just moved all our stuff into our new closet and couldn't find anything! We called Dr Royal and were on our way to the hospital! After a VERY comfortable night with the epidural and many family members visiting, we were surprised that at 5:00 am I was completely dilated and ready to push! Of course, Noah had his own plan and wouldn't progress on his own, so against our plans, Noah was born via c-section! Alan was able to participate in Noah's first bath and was an extremely proud daddy as he displayed him in the nursery window (which was completely taken up with our family!) We were able to come home on Friday (after the laminate floors were done in the whole house!) and are so happy WeWa was able to stay with his for a week because we wouldn't have made it without her! We have had many visitors and Noah has already attended his first Tansi fish fry! We cannot thank our family enough for their love and support and will do our best to continue to upate our new blog as Noah grows! It's hard to believe he is already 3 weeks old today!
